Kiedy legendarny Lance Hedrick wysłał mi listę kaw, które mogą nam zaproponować, od razu wiedziałem, o które kawy poprosić. Wybraliśmy mytą Sidrę z Ekwadoru. Dlaczego? Ekwador to kraj, z którego ciężko dostać kawy, małe zbiory skutkują potem bardzo wysokimi cenami, a ziarna z tej destynacji i tak rozchodzą się na pniu. Odmiana botaniczna – Sidra to też nieczęsty widok, do tego klasyczny washed. Same plusy zero minusów. W smaku jest bardzo rześko i soczyście, dużo nut floral. Mam nadzieję, że sam Lance jeszcze dorzuci swoje pięć groszy do mojego opisu. Na zdrowie!
When the legendary Lance Hedrick sent over a list of coffees they could offer us, I knew instantly which ones to pick. We went with a washed Sidra from Ecuador. Why? Because getting coffee from Ecuador is basically a side quest on hard mode. Small harvests mean sky-high prices, and the beans still sell out instantly. And the Sidra variety? Rarely seen in the wild, especially as a classic washed. All pros, no cons.
Flavor-wise it’s super bright and juicy, with loads of floral notes. I’m hoping Lance himself will throw in his two cents on top of my description. Cheers!
